$1.3 million McLaren P1 to be featured in Need for Speed movie

DreamWorks has begun production on its EA video game based movie ‘Need for Speed.’ Directed by Scott Waugh of ‘Act of Valor’ the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2014.
Just last week, one of the main actors of the movie, Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, tweeted that filming started production in Mendocino County, north of San Francisco.
We now have the first pics from the set and it looks like the $1.3 million McLaren P1 will be making an appearance in the movie. We’re just crossing our fingers that the car won’t be destroyed or scratched during filming.
