Road Test TV – For 2011 Ford offers more power and new graphics for its Ford F150 SVT Raptor pick up truck.

In 2011 Ford’s SVT Raptor’s 6.2 liter now has 411 horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque which makes the F-150 SVT Raptor one of the most powerful half-ton pickups produced.  The exhaust for the 6.2-liter engine is  tuned to deliver a performance sound that most customers desire.  In addition, Ford has a unique firing order which gives the 6.2-liter a distinct roar.

There’s more – Previously Ford only offered optional graphics for the Mustang, Taurus and Fiesta.   However, now its available on the SVT Raptor but, there is only one choice which consists of  a black hood inspired by the racing Broncos of the 1970s.  Not only does the new graphics add a muscular look to the already muscular high performance SVT truck, an additional plus is that black optional rugged graphic reduces glare coming off the hood.   The original graphic that has been with the Raptor since it was introduced (digital mud bedside graphic) remains optional.  Check out Ford’s press release and see the gallery of  photos.
