2011 Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V V800 – 800 horsepower! – Road Test TV

Road Test TV – If 556 HP and 551 lb-ft of torque doesn’t do it for you from the 6.2 Liter supercharged LSA engine that comes standard in the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V, Hennessey has a solution.   Through performance enhancements such as two turbos, ported heads, new  camshaft and free flowing exhaust to name a few, Hennessey has messaged up to 800 hp and 780 lbs-ft of torque from its V800 package.   If you want to keep your CTS-V’s supercharger,  Hennessey’s V700 may be for you.  The V700 package makes over 700 horsepower (707 to be exact)  and 701 lbs-ft of torque from the CTS-V engine ( 598 rear wheel horsepower and a full 631 lb-ft of torque with the factory 6-speed automatic on 93 octane pump gas).

The CTS-V’s engine is similar to the Corvette ZR-1’s LS9 engine, and with Hennessey enhancements it exceeds the ZR-1 power by nearly 170 horsepower.  Hennessey claims that its V700 CTS-V will rip from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and top out at 211 mph.   Hennessey also claims the V700 Caddy will evaporate the 1/4 Mile in  11.1 @ 128 mph.  We don’t doubt it for a moment.  We can’t wait to see the numbers the V800 will lay down.
