Next-generation Hyundai Genesis sedan to debut in Detroit

Wondering when the next-generation Hyundai Genesis will arrive? According to Hyundai CEO Kim Choon-ho, the next-generation Hyundai Genesis sedan will hit dealership next year following a world debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
“You will see the Genesis at the Detroit auto show,” Ramirez told Edmunds.
According to Ramirez, the next-generation Hyundai Genesis Sedan will be totally redesigned for the new model year and will take a lot of its styling elements from the HCD-14 Concept.
“Design is constantly evolving, all design is,” he said. “The desire is to always look to enhance and provide freshness to design, but it is not a change from our general overall theme of fluidic sculpture.”
The new-generation Hyundai Genesis sedan will also get all-wheel-drive – a first for the model – and the availability of a 10-speed automatic transmission.
