Porsche is taking things to a whole different level and has said that every future model will be available with a hybrid-electric drive. He said that the hybrid powertrain in the Porsche Panamera Hybrid was designed to fit into all of the brand’s future models – including the 911.
Porsche is taking the steps in order to significantly reduce its fuel-consumption figures.
The next stage of Porsche hybrids are due in 2016-2017. Even though the Porsche Panamera Hybrid and Plug-in hybrid are just hitting dealers, Porsche’s engineers are already working on the next-generation of the system that will most likely debut in 2016.
