Supercharged Inferno Orange Camaro SS vs. Mustang GT – Drag Race Video – Road Test TV

A 2010 Inferno Orange LS3 Camaro SS with a 2.9L Whipple supercharger, Kooks long tube headers and Whipple blower cam takes on a 2007 Mustang GT. Since the Mustang was basically stock and naturally aspirated, it wasn’t a challenge for the supercharged Camaro. On the launch, the Whippled Camaro lit the tires and ran the 1/4 mile in 12.01 seconds; however, the trap speed of 121.6 mph (195 km/h) indicates that the 6.2L LS3 motor is making serious power. The Mustang GT ran 13.96 @ 101.8 mph (162 km/h). With better traction, the Camaro should run the 1/4 mile in the 11.50s.
