Tesla Model S

Tesla has announced a new trim level of the Model S that has better ride quality and longer range compared to other models of the electric sedan.

Known as the Tesla Model S Performance Plus, the new trim-level of the car costs an additional $6,500 and includes 20mm wider rear tires, an updated stabilizer bars, new bushings and dampers. The overall range has increased by 6 to 12 miles and it also accelerates faster due to the new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 staggered tires.

The trim-level is available exclusively for the 85 kWh Performance model and can be retrofitted to existing models. However, if you opt for that option you’ll have to cash out an additional $13,000 but does not include the upgraded stabilizer bars and dampers.

It seems like the Tesla Model S just keeps getting better and better.
