2011 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Mustang gets 800 horsepower! Road Test TV

2011 Shelby GT500 Super Snake - source: Shelby American

For 2011 Shelby American will offer a Super Snake package for Ford’s Shelby GT500 Mustang with modified styling and an optional 800 horsepower engine.  Beginning in September of 2010, only 1,000 Super Snake packages for the 2011 model year will be built at the Shelby American facility in Las Vegas, Nevada  or one of the official Shelby Mod Shops.

According to the Shelby press release,  the 750 hp Super Snake package starts at $30,245 (just  slightly less than the cost of a new 2011 Mustang GT). For complete specs for the 2011 Super Snake packages see the official press release here: http://shelbyamerican.com/news.asp?id=59

    So great, because I love power.

    I have photos from Shelby Cobra CSX from the year 1966 with 800 hp and Shelby GT500 Supersnake with 800 hp from 2009 in my blog. These cars I could see in American car Show in Helsinki in this spring.

      I agree. An 800 hp Mustang that you can buy off the showroom floor – if your a horsepower junkie, it doesn’t get any better.
