2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT is road-legal but is built to be track-focused

It seems like Jaguar can’t get enough of special-edition XK models. At the 2013 New York Auto Show, the brand’s ETO division will show-off the Jaguar XKR-S GT coupe – a car that is built for the track but is also legal to drive on the road.
“The development of the XKR-S GT demanded an uncompromised approach to enhance aerodynamic downforce, with complementary suspension changes to maximize high-speed cornering ability. Power for the Jaguar XKR-S GT comes from a 5 liter supercharged V8 engine making 550-hp and 501 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission, allowing the car to run from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.
Only 30 units for the North American market are scheduled to be produced.
