2014 Mercedes-Benz S Class being delivered to event by DHL

Mercedes-Benz is gearing up for the launch of the 2014 S Class flagship sedan tomorrow. The new S-Class has just landed in Hamburg via a fully-chartered DHL plane – as seen in the picture above posted on Mercedes-Benz’s Facebook page.

We’ll have more details for you tomorrow following the full debut of the 2014 S Class.

For now, we know that the 2014 S-Class will be in a couple of trim levels including the S350 BlueTEC, the S500, and the S400 Hybrid.

The S350 BlueTEC will be powered by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that produces 258-hp. The S500 will be powered by a 4.7 liter V8 making 455-hp and the S400 Hybrid will be powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine mated to an electric-motor. That will allow it to produce 306-hp.
