2015 Chevrolet Corvette News !!!

Chevrolet just announced that the 2015 Supercharged Z06 with 650 horsepower and 650 lb/ft of torque will have a MSRP of $78,995 for the Z06 Coupe and $83,995 for the Z06 Convertible.  This is the most powerful car GM has ever made. The new Z06 (as well as the base 2015 Corvette) will be available with Chevrolet’s new 8 speed paddle shifted automatic transmission and, new, Z07 performance package (Z06 only).  The  Z07 package includes larger winglets on the front splitter and an adjustable, clear, center section on the rear spoiler for race track use. We’re told that the Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package produces the most aerodynamic downforce of any production car GM has tested. Downforce on the new z06 is critical as the word is that the 2015 Z06 will have a top speed of more than 200 mph.

In addition, Chevrolet is offering two (2) new Z06 only interior colors – Dark Grey and Blue. We’ve also been told that the curb weight of the new Z06 will be slightly over 3600 lbs for the Z06 Coupe with Z06 Convertible weighing a few pounds more, but under 3700 lbs.  Continue reading below for a comprehensive list of the new 2015 Corvette Features.
