Are you a big ’60’s Mustang fan? Here’s your chance to take part in a little history. The 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor used in ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’ is up for auction that will take place in May at the Dana Mecum 26th Original Spring Classic Auction in Indianapolis.
For the movie itself, a total of 11 cars were built with only three that were fully functioning. Two of them were destroyed during filming and the last one remaining is going under the hammer.
The model was built by Cinema Vehicle Services and is powered by a 5.7 liter V8 making 400-hp.
The car is expected to reach more than $100,000.
