The Worthersee 2013 event is just around the corner and Audi has something special for all of us. The German automaker will be debuting the new Audi TT ultra quattro concept, which it says combines “minimal weight and maximum sportiness.”

Weighing in at just 2,449 pounds, the Audi TT ultra quattro concept is powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine making 310-hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. That allows it to run from 0 to 62 in just 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 174 mph.

“Its power-to-weight ratio of 3.6 kg/hp is on a par with thoroughbred super sports cars,” Audi said in a statement. “And it is also worthwhile looking at the detail, not least because the concept car pays homage to automotive lightweight construction.”

We highly doubt that the Audi TT ultra quattro concept will see series production. Basically Audi is showing how carbon fiber construction will start taking place in future upcoming models from the brand.
