First Production 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 #0001 listed for sale on eBay, but auction ends early?

Owning the first produced vehicle of any model is special; however, lucking into the first production 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a collector’s dream. Shane McGlaun of Texas appears to have been at the right place at the right time and was able to purchase the first production 2012 Boss 302 Mustang. Shane bought the car from Presige Ford in Garland Texas, however, as it turns out, driving a piece of collector car history was not what Shane was looking to do. Shane wanted a car to drive and apparrently felt bad putting miles such a historic 2012 Boss. As such, he decided to list the car on eBay so it could be appreciated by a collector (Also, a little profit wouldn’t be bad).

Shane put the car on eBay, but before the auction ended, the Boss’ auction was closed. Rumor has it that Shane’s 001 Boss Mustang went to a private collector. We wish the new owner the best of luck with his piece of Boss history.
