Just the other day we told you about Volkswagen’s new concept known as the ‘Design Vision GTI.’ The concept is currently making its debut at the Wörthersee festival and while at first all we saw were a bunch of sketches we now have the first real images of the super-hatch.

The Volkswagen Design Vision GTI concept is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 TSI twin-turbo engine, making 503-hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, with a maximum figure of 413 lb-ft at 4000 rpm. Mated to a DSG dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, the concept can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.

So far, Volkswagen has said nothing about such a powerful Volkswagen GTI coming to form in real life – however, this concept does give us a look into the future of the model and it seems like we can expect some great, fast and powerful things.

The Volkswagen Design Vision GTI Concept also features some very nice design upgrades to the front and rear fascia – things you would only see in a concept car. Don’t expect any of these extreme design elements to make it into the production model.
