Video: Bugatti releases video of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse WRC top speed run

Last month, Bugatti announced that its new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse WRC is the fastest roadster in the world. The model set the world speed record for the fastest production roadster at the Volkswagen Group’s proving grounds in Ehra-Lessien.

According to German company TUV, which confirmed the top speed, said that the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse WRC hit a top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph).

Behind the steering wheel was Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu, 29, who piloted the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse WRC to its top speed.
