2012 Mercedes CLS63 – RENNtech Tuned – Aceleration video 0 – 130 mph (210 km/h) – Road Test TV

Below is a video of a RENNtech tuned 660 hp 2012 Mercedes CLS63 accelerating from 0 to 130 mph (210 km/h). The new CLS63 with a tune completely overwhelms the stock tires. As such, we bolted on a set of drag radials. As you can tell from the video, the torque of the tuned BiTurbo V8 is enough to break the drag radials loose even after the CLS has shifted into second gear. We were attempting to modulate the throttle to control wheel spin; however, the massive torque of the new BiTurbo V8 spins the drag radials easily. More to come.
