2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible unveiled

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible Rundown:

- Power: 6.2 liter LT1 V8 making 450-hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

When the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe goes on sale in late 2013, it will be joined by the convertible version as well.
“The convertible has been a part of the heart and soul of Corvette since the very beginning in 1953,” said Ed Welburn, GM vice president of global design. “With the all-new Corvette Stingray, we designed and developed the coupe and convertible simultaneously. As a result, the Corvette Stingray offers an open-top driving experience with no compromise in performance, technology or design.”
GM says that the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible features a button on the key fob that can remotely lower the fabric top on the sports car. The top can be operated at speeds up to 31 mph.
Pricing will be launched closer to launch date.
