Porsche is celebrating its 50th anniversary by starting a new chapter in the area of high performance sports cars for circuit tracks. In celebration of this new era, Porsche has unveiled the most extreme 911 GT3 ever.
The fifth-generation of the 911 GT3 is powered by a 3.8 liter flat 6-cylinder engine pumping out 475-hp. Mated to a PDK 7-speed transmission, 0 to 60 mph comes 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph.
Porsche said that the new 911 GT3 ran the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap in an impressive 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
