Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Hot Wheels Edition drops its top

Joining the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe Hot Wheels Edition, GM has unveiled the convertible limited-edition model at the Indianapolis 500 race. The drop-top edition will join the coup version later this year.
To celebrate the launch, a total of 33 cars were driven as the Festival Car for the Indy 500 in a ceremony held on Wednesday at the “Brickyard.”
Like the coupe, the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Hote Wheels Edition features a flashy blue metallic paint scheme with graphic accents, red line alloys, Hot Wheels grille and the toy car company logo on the grille and decklid plus Hot Wheels Edition sill plates.
The 97th Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 26, with the Opening Day on Saturday, May 11.
